Social Entrepreneur – Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of The Year

Robert was honored as a semifinalist in the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year (EOY) Program. Individuals who have made an outstanding contribution to the entrepreneurial spirit in America or helped an entrepreneur become successful through business or academia are eligible for the award. The program is sponsored by Ernst & Young, LLP, The Entrepreneur of the Year Institute, The Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership Inc., USA Today and NASDAQ. Past EOY winners include Michael Dell of Dell Computers, Christos Cotsakos of E*Trade, and Howard Schultz of Starbucks Coffee.
In his role as the Executive Director at the Global Entrepreneurship Institute, a nonprofit organization that specializes in educating entrepreneurs who lead ventures with high growth potential, he has written or edited more than a dozen books. His entrepreneurship books are required reading at leading universities around the world such as Harvard, Stanford, UCLA, USC, Wharton, CSUF, INSEAD, and NYU.
